Seriously, not sexy unless you’re into safety. We’ve been using Rain-X for probably 20 years, and I’m always shocked that it’s not a standard car care item for every car on the road. Based on personal experience alone, it feels much safer to drive a car with a Rain-X treated windshield than one without. With Rain-X the windshield doesn’t get covered with blobs of water that are impossible to see through and also impossible to wipe away quickly enough. Rain beads up instantly, and in a light rain blows off the windshield without need of wipers. In a deluge rain still beads up quickly so the driver can see between the beads until the wipers clear them.
