Too Good Not to Share*
The other day I went into a giant office supplies store for a ream of paper. My husband decided to take his chances and wait in the car even though he’s well aware of how distracted I can get while shopping. He was probably counting on time for a quick snooze, but I stayed pretty much on task. The only thing was I saw an endcap display of pens, with little pads of paper to doodle on provided. Besides the standard blue and black, these eye-catching pens also came in a rainbow pack of colors. You know I had to try them.
I present to you, on this Too Good Not to Share Tuesday, Tru Red quick-dry gel pens. These beauties have a rubberized barrel that feels a shade larger than the standard ballpoint pen, which makes it very easy to use. The ink flows out smoothly, leaving nary a blob or splotch on a page of writing except for my own mottled messes. Where I saw Tru Red they were available in the colors stated above as well as your choice of click pen or standard lidded pen and a choice between .5mm and .7mm. They were also sold individually or in multi-packs, so I picked up a 5-pack each of black and assorted colors (purple, red, orange, neon green, light blue).
The ink truly dries in an instant. It’s hard to brush back across it quickly enough to make it smear. I’m enjoying using them to journal with. It feels so elegant to write in this lovely gel ink as opposed to the decent, but still blobbing, ballpoint pen I had been using. So if you’re looking for a little something to brighten up your winter days, you’ll want to try TruRed quick-dry gel pens.
I found them at Staples where a 5-pack cost $5-$7 depending on your choice of color and style. — And I did purchase the paper I went in for — and maybe just a couple of other things, too…

Those sound good enough to tempt me back to writing in longhand. Almost. LOL
