For the inaugural Revisited we’re going almost all the way back to the beginning. This little ditty appeared in Prairie Winds Anthology, 1981, a statewide publication which celebrated the creative endeavors of South Dakota high school students.
In the era of imitations
Where grass is plastic
And the natural look takes hours to achieve,
It’s nice to know
That there is still something
As beautiful, reliable, and real
As a true friend.
